A.R. Rahman Shares Special Moment With K.J. Yesudas

A.R. Rahman one of India’s most celebrated music composers, is currently working on multiple films across Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages.

In Tamil, he’s composing for Genie starring Ravi Mohan, Moonwalk with Prabhu Deva, and Killer starring S.J. Suryah. It has also been officially announced that he will be scoring music for Dhanush and Mari Selvaraj’s upcoming film.

Rahman is currently on an international musical tour and recently completed performances in the United States. During his U.S. visit he met with Sam Altman, CEO of a leading AI company, to discuss a creative project titled Secret Mountain.

Another touching moment came when Rahman visited legendary singer K.J. Yesudas in Dallas.

Sharing a picture online he wrote “Met my childhood favourite… amazed at his research and love for Carnatic music!” The meeting was heartfelt and emotional, marking a memorable point in Rahman’s inspiring musical journey.
