Yash has started shooting for his upcoming Bollywood project Ramayana. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi as Sita, while Yash plays the mighty Ravana.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari the movie is being made in two parts, with Part 1 set to release during Diwali 2026.
Currently the team is filming intense action scenes, with stunts choreographed by Hollywood’s Guy Norris, known for Mad Max: Fury Road and The Suicide Squad.
Yash has begun shooting these high-octane sequences and is seen in new photos sporting a rugged look with a thick beard and moustache.
Yash is not only acting but also co-producing the film along with Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios. With a massive scale and top-tier talent, Ramayana is one of the most anticipated Indian films in the coming years.
