SS Rajamouli took active participation in industry meetings with both the Telugu states Chief Ministers, an initiative industry bigwigs took to resume shootings for films and TV serials. Rajamouli even came forward to do a test shoot with a limited cast and crew for a couple of days.
This test shoot was supposed to start from today at Gandipet with key cast and crew participating in it. However, the other day a TV serial actor and 6 more members have been tested positive. Hyderabad has been witnessing a large spike in positive cases. More than 500 people per day are being tested positive. This means that positive cases have a more than 25 percent conversion rate to the tests conducted. This is quite alarming.
So considering the situation, Rajamouli has decided to call off the test shoot. No shoot is happening in Gandipet now. Jakkanna felt that it would be better if he wait for a few more days until there was a reduction in the pandemic situation.
