Will Virata Parvam fall prey to the same old trope?

Rana Daggubati’s film Virata Parvam, which has been in the making for quite some time now, is finally set to be released on June 17th. The film features Sai Pallavi as its leading lady and is written and directed by Venu Udugula, who is making his directorial debut with the film.

Virata Parvam has already been showcased to a lot of celebrities, who had nothing but good words to say about the film. The film is also being promoted extensively, and there’s a good buzz surrounding the film as well. However, there is also an equal amount of doubt surrounding the film’s fate. Considering that the film’s release was delayed for this long, despite the shoot having been completed a long time ago, there are doubts over whether or not the makers themselves believe in it.

On the other hand, Priyamani and Naveen Chandra will be seen in key roles in the film. Virata Parvam is based on real-life events that took place in Telangana, in the 1990s, and features a love story at the core of it.
