Mahesh Babu continues to hit at the box office with ‘Guntur Karam,’ crossing 200 crores despite mixed initial responses. Undeterred, the superstar is already immersed in the pre-production of his next project with star director SS Rajamouli in Germany.
SSMB29, the much-anticipated collaboration, is set to be launched on Ugadi, the Telugu New Year, on April 9, 2024, with a targeted release on Ugadi 2026. Rajamouli, known for his perfection, is incorporating Hollywood talent, courtesy of his collaboration with the Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
The film, expected to be a globetrotting adventure, boasts MM Keeravani for music, while speculation surrounds the possible replacement of cinematographer Senthil Kumar. With a colossal budget exceeding 1500 crores, KL Narayana and a major Hollywood studio are set to bankroll the project.
A workshop involving the entire crew is in the pipeline, and shooting is planned across three different countries, with the dense Amazon forests as a prominent backdrop. Despite the buzz, official confirmation is awaited on certain aspects, keeping fans eagerly anticipating the grand cinematic spectacle.
