Vijay, Tamil Thalapathy has been bidding to make a market for himself in Telugu ever since. His Thuppakki made a good impact on box office. He has planned to release every movie of his simultaneously in Telugu after that but that plan seems to be not working in favour of him. His Policeodu, Theri remake faced problems and Mersal, remake Adirindi is also facing many problems now.
The movie producers planned for a simultaneous release on Diwali day and Sharat Marar, a known producer as the presenter but still, the movie censor certificate has not been issued. Now, the update regarding this is that producers have decided to return the money of the distributors and sell the movie remake rights. Apparently, Geetha Arts, a big production house in Telugu, headed by Allu Arvind, bought the rights it seems. Who will act in this movie is still a suspense but as off now, according to trustworthy sources, remake rights are with them.
Another report from sources suggest that the movie censor will happen by the end of this werk and a release in second or third week of November is a possibility. The availability of theatres for this movie with so many releases will be a huge question mark and we have to wait and see, which report from the sources will be true. The movie in Tamil is going strong at the box office with a reported gross of 200 crores, worldwide.
