When will Indian 2 resume its shooting part?

It is widely known that star actor-director duo Kamal Haasan and Shankar’s prestigious project, Indian 2 is kept on hold. After the shooting is halted after a massive accident happened on the sets in February 2020. Later, due to the Covid crisis, the film never resumed its shooting.

Even Lyca Productions approached the Madras High court and lodged a complaint against director Shankar for not resuming the film’s shooting in November 2020. Later, the issue is not in the headlines due to some unknown reasons. Meanwhile, the latest we hear is that Shankar is keen on resuming Indian 2 soon after wrapping up his ongoing film with Ram Charan.

As per the reports from Kollywood circles, Shankar has decided to go a few re-shoots from already canned episodes and complete the entire shooting formalities by April 2023. Kamal Haasan who is riding high on the success of his recent outing, Vikram is also ready to wrap up Indian 2 as a first priority, say sources.
