What is the reason behind Vijay skipping Beast promotions in Telugu?

It is widely known that Tamil star Vijay’s upcoming film, Beast is all set to hit the screens simultaneous in Telugu with the same title on April 13th. Top Telugu producer Dil Raju is releasing the film in Telugu states.

Meanwhile, this afternoon the pre-release press meet for the movie happened at Westin Hotel in Hyderabad. Along with the film’s heroine Pooja Hegde, music composer Anirudh Ravichander also graced the event. But hero Vijay skipped the event due to reasons unknown. Did Vijay wantedly ignored Beast promotions in Telugu or else is there any reason behind his absence? Is one question which commonly struck everyone’s mind at the event.

This Nelson Dilipkumar directional is set in a military backdrop and also has noted director turned actor Selvaraaghavan in a key role. Sun Pictures banner bankrolled the film with a whopping budget.
