Vishal Calls For Unity In Film Industry

The Tamil Film Producers Council election was recently held with many film personalities attending.

Actor Vishal was present and answered media questions. He was asked why he did not support Vijay’s film Jana Nayagan during its censor issue.

Vishal said change cannot happen if only one person speaks. Unity among all council members is more important.

He also stated that since the matter had gone to court the council could not interfere or make public statements. If the producers had approached earlier, collective action might have been possible.

He added that while he is not fully comfortable with the censor system, everyone must respect legal rules. His comments have sparked fresh discussions in the industry.
