Vikram and Dhruv Vikram’s Mahaan to opt for a direct OTT release

Mahaan, the much-awaited multi-starrer featuring Kollywood star Chiyaan Vikram and his son Dhruv Vikram in the lead roles has wrapped up its entire shooting formalities a couple of months back. Being directed by acclaimed Tamil director Karthik Subbaraj, the film also stars talented actress Vani Bhojan in the female lead role.

Meanwhile, the latest news is that the film is going to skip its theatrical release and go ahead with a direct-to-OTT release on Amazon Prime Video. An official announcement came out this afternoon that the film will be premiered on February 11th on the streaming platform in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages.

Bankrolled by Lalit Kumar under 7 Studios banner, Mahaan has its music by Santhosh Narayan.
