Vijay Sethupathi Suggests Solution For Tamil Cinema
Vijay Sethupathi recently spoke about the problems faced by the film industry. He made a direct request to Tamil Nadu CM Vijay asking the government to start an OTT platform for Tamil cinema without fail.
Vijay Sethupathi said many producers and filmmakers are struggling after the OTT market slowed down unexpectedly.
According to him OTT platforms once helped cinema grow but later reduced support, creating confusion in the industry. He requested the government to properly regulate the OTT business for filmmakers benefit.
The actor also spoke about theatre ticket prices, saying production costs have increased heavily while ticket rates remain unchanged.
He felt a small hike in ticket prices could help producers and distributors manage expenses better. His speech has now become a hot topic online.
