The tragic stampede at TVK party president Vijay Thalapathy’s election rally in Karur, Tamil Nadu, claimed 41 lives and left many others injured.
Vijay shared a video message expressing his grief today. He said such an incident should never have happened and promised to visit Karur soon to meet the survivors.
Vijay added “I have never faced such a painful situation in my life. The reason so many people gathered for me is because of their love and affection. I will always be indebted to them”.
He also raised questions about the Stalin government filing FIRs against TVK leaders. Vijay said “People are watching everything”.
“The truth will come out. CM sir, if you want to take revenge do it on me, but do not harm them. I will either be at home or in my office”.
