Vijay Antony To Compose Music For…

Ganesh Chandra is making his debut as a filmmaker with the romantic comedy Pookie starring Ajay Dhishan and newcomer Dhanusha.

Speaking about the film, Ganesh said “It’s a fun love story that reflects today’s generation. The story shows what happens when ego comes between a couple who have been together for six years”.

He compared Pookie to Pa Ranjith’s Attakathi. Music for the film will be composed by Vijay Antony.

Interestingly, Ganesh began his career as a cinematographer with Antony’s film Salim (2014), and he shared that this is one of the rare times Vijay Antony is composing music for a film without acting in it.

Actor Sunil also plays an important role in the movie as a spiritual master. Ganesh explained, ”He isn’t a villain but has a serious role, and I had him in mind while writing the script”.
