Vijay And Sangeetha’s Legal Battle Comes To An End

T.N C.M and actor Vijay has received relief in his personal life. His wife, Sangeetha has withdrawn the divorce petition she filed before the Chengalpattu District Court.

The court accepted her request and closed the case ending the legal proceedings. The petition, filed earlier this year had attracted significant attention in Tamil Nadu and the film industry.

The case went through several hearings with Vijay and Sangeetha absent on some occasions while their lawyers represented them.

During Friday hearing, Sangeetha informed the court that she wanted to withdraw the petition. The court approved her request but no reason for the decision has been made public.

They married in 1999 and have two children. Neither has issued an official statement about the latest development.
