Venkatesh trained hard for Guru!

Victory Venkatesh is known for his choices of different cinema when it comes to remakes. He mostly chooses the well worked out stories from other languages and make them again for telugu audiences in his own style.His recent remake, will be Guru, retelling of the famous underdog story Saala Khadoos. Sudha kongara the director of the original is also he director of the movie in Telugu. She in conversation with a national level entertainment website, revealed a few interesting things about the movie.

She said that Venkatesh agreed to do the movie even before Madhavan had accepted but due to few problems that did not materialise and then even before the release he once again agreed to the movie in January but needed time to beef up himself as per the script demand.She further added Venkatesh is being so punctual abd helpful with her process of filmmaking without questioning and resisting with starry tantrums.

She said that within 9 months even after going through an injury he showed a lot of dedication to build the body like Madhavan did, who took two and half years apparently.She said the lady boxer will not be a fisherwoman and the story will take place in Vizag. She said she is excited to make telugu debut with the movie and wants people to enjoy the film to the fullest.
