Varun Tej’s “Matka” a film set in the 1970s and directed by Karuna Kumar. Shooting for “Matka” is expected to finish by September.
Varun Tej has also agreed to star in two additional films. The first is directed by Gandhi Merlapaka and produced by Krish’s First Frame Entertainments.
This film will begin shooting in Korea in late September and will be completed in one stretch with a significant portion being filmed there.
Following this Varun Tej will start shooting for another film directed by Vikram Sirikonda produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
This movie described as an AI love story will be shot in the USA. Visas for this project are currently being arranged and after finishing the Korean shoot Varun Tej will travel to the USA for filming.
After completing these overseas schedules Varun Tej will simultaneously shoot for both films in Hyderabad. He is planning to release three films next year and is considering signing more projects before finishing his current commitments.
