Starring in the global Citadel series are Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
For the upcoming Indian adaptation of “Citadel,” actors Varun Dhawan and Sikandar Kher are pushing the boundaries of intensive action training.
To perform these passages, Varun Dhawan and Sikandar Kher have begun preparation work. A source close to the production claims that the performers are now undergoing training to get ready for action scenes.
The source said, “The Citadel series is going to have high-intense action and it being a spy series, there has to be a particular swiftness in the movements and fight sequences, for which the training is currently underway. The shoot will continue till July for the series.”
Samantha Ruth Prabhu appears in the series as well. Citadel is the Indian equivalent of the more extensive international series of the same name, which was first produced by the filmmaker team known as the Russo Brothers. It is directed by “The Family Man” founders Raj and DK.
Varun Dhawan had already posted a photo from the airport via Instagram. He is seen sporting a cap and a light brown T-shirt. His caption read like follows, “Last sched spyverse.”
Uncertainty surrounds the actor’s travel plans for the production. The ‘Bhediya’ star is reportedly on his way to Serbia, though, if rumors are to be believed.
The cast of the international Citadel series includes Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
