Unstoppable Pathaan Creating Wonders at US Box Office

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s action thriller, Pathaan under the direction of Siddharth Anand had a theatrical release on January 25th. Along with Hindi, the film had a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil versions.

Opened to largely positive reports, the film witnessed massive reception across the globe. The film is eyeing atRs 500crore gross at the Indian box office itself. Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that Pathaan has breached more than $5.5 million at the US box office. The film is expected to gross $7 million at the US ticket windows by this weekend.

In Telugu version, Pathaan theatrical rights are sold for Rs 3.96 crore and the film should collect Rs 4.25 crore share to be a safe bet for the buyers here. Cashing in on the craze, the film has collected more than Rs 5 crore share from twin Telugu states in four days.
