Tulasi Announces Emotional Retirement

Tulasi has announced that she is retiring from films. She revealed that she will stop acting after December 31st and devote her life completely to spirituality. Tulasi said she wants to dedicate herself to Baba.

In a heartfelt note she wrote “After my Shirdi visit on December 31, I wish myself a happy retirement. I will continue my journey in peace with Sainadha. Thank you all for helping me learn life. Sairam”.

Tulasi began her film journey as a child artist and quickly became popular. One of her most memorable and known early roles was in Sankarabharanam (1979).

She later became a leading actress in the early 80s acting in many films. In the 2000s she made a strong comeback with great supporting roles.

In recent years, she acted in many films and many people know her for her role in Darling with Prabhas.
