Lately, the music scene in Telugu cinema has faced significant setbacks. The much-anticipated musical composition by Mahati Swara Sagar for “Bholaa Shankar” was expected to enhance the Megastar’s performance, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. This led to a wave of criticism and online trolling following the movie’s release.

Interestingly, even the legendary father, who was once celebrated, is now facing criticism due to his son’s letdown. Adding to the disappointment, renowned composer Mani Sharma’s recent work hasn’t lived up to his former glory. The release of “Bedurulanka 2012,” a film revolving around an apocalyptic theme, provided a prime opportunity for an immersive background score.

However, despite theaters equipped with advanced Dolby Atmos technology, the impact of the music was notably lacking. The absence of captivating sound design and fresh background music was evident, while the film’s songs seemed to fade from memory quickly.

Despite the high hopes set after the success of “Ismart Shankar,” Mani Sharma’s efforts in ‘Acharya’ and “Bedurulanka 2012” have failed to garner the expected acclaim from his fans. This lackluster response compounds the challenges for the accomplished composer, similar to the recent disappointment caused by his son’s work. It is anticipated that both composers will heed the critical feedback from audiences and enthusiasts to refine their future musical endeavors.
