Director Trivikram Srinivas scored the biggest hit of his career last year, in the form of Stylish star Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaaikuntapuramlo, which became a non-Baahubali industry hit in Tollywood. Post that, everyone was interested to see who Trivikram would collaborate with next, and everyone was excited when Trivikram announced that he would be directing Young Tiger NTR for the second time after NTR wraps up RRR.
Due to coronavirus, RRR got delayed several times, and things fell through between NTR and Trivikram for some unknown reasons. Koratala Siva will now be directing NTR in his follow up film to RRR, and Trivikram has announced his next with Superstar Mahesh Babu. Mahesh is expected to join Trivikram after he wraps up Sarkaru Vaari Paata, which is not expected to be wrapped up until the end of this year.
In the meantime, with Trivikram still waiting, the director has decided to shift his focus to the remake of Ayyappanum Koshium, in which Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Ran Daggubati play the leads. Trivikram wrote the screenplay and dialogues for this film, and also has a major share in the profits. Trivikram will join the shoot of this film as well, in its next schedule, which is expected to begin in mid-July.
