The last few months have not been very needful for Tollywood, as reasons like summer heat, IPL games, and elections have stopped multiple big flicks to reach theatres. At the end of elections and the IPL draws close, people are now starting to consume their entertainment in theaters and online OTT platforms.
The next launch is “Raju Yadav,” the filmmaker Krishnamachari K’s directorial debut with ‘Jabardasth’ fame Getup Srinu and Ankita Kharath in the lead role. With a mix of emotion and entertainment, it will hit theaters on May 17.
There is the comedy feature film “Nata Ratnalu” which includes Rangasthalam Mahesh, Sudarshan, and Inaya Sulthana releasing on the same day. Another release to look forward to is “Darshini” directed by Pradeep Allu, a science fiction thriller with Shanti and GK Vikasin lead roles.
However, “Akkada Unnavaru Ikkada Unnaru,” with Kandurti Trivikrama Rao as the director, telling about a couple trapped in an unsolved murder case, will get released on May 17th too. In addition to it, the trend of re-releasing classic movies like Shankar and Vikram‘s “Aparichitudu” is in motion, which takes people back in time and intensifies the feelings of joy.
