Fish Venkat passed away last night after battling severe health issues. He had been on a ventilator for the past two weeks due to kidney failure.
His family was searching for a matching kidney donor but sadly they could not find one in time.
He was at the hospital in Hyderabad and his family even appealed to celebrities from the film industry for financial support. Unfortunately, before a transplant could happen, he breathed his last.
Fish Venkat whose real name was Mangalapalli Venkatesh, was born on August 3, 1971, in Machilipatnam. He began his acting career in 1991 with Janthar Mantar and appeared in over 100 films.
His big break came with Aadhi, and he went on to feature in movies like Dil, Bunny, Gabbar Singh, Atharintiki Daaredi, and King. His last film was Coffee With A Killer. He will be remembered fondly. Rest in peace, Fish Venkat.
