Every film industry in the country was severely affected due to the second wave of coronavirus, with daily wage workers out of business, and theatre owners suffering heavy losses. Post the lockdown, film industries are once again getting back into action, and Tollywood is surely making more noise than any other industry in the country.
There are a variety of films that are currently in production and were affected due to the second wave. From small films to big ones, every film is now back on the floor, shooting rapidly and trying to wrap up their schedules before a speculated third wave could affect them. On top of that, star heroes – while busy with their current commitments – are singing more and more films. Now, even Tamil actors are looking to Tollywood, with top stars like Suriya, Vijay and Dhanush doing straight Telugu films.
Producers are busy singing on directors and actors, planning a number of films in advance. Tollywood filmmakers are also looking to start releasing some much-delayed films in theatres, as the Telangana government has given permission to reopen theatres as per the industry’s wish. With so much going on for Tollywood, it most certainly is making the most noise currently.
