Yesterday, we had reported that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials have sent notices to several Tollywood celebrities asking them to appear for an investigation related to the 2017 drugs case. Responding to the notices, director Puri Jagannadh appeared before ED yesterday.
Meanwhile, the latest we hear is that Puri Jagannadh was grilled for more than 10 hours by the Special Investigation Team( SIT). Reportedly, Puri was questioned on his connection with the money-laundering transactions with the 2017 drugs case. Inside reports reveal that the ED officials have even taken a few important documents and his bank statement details and asked him to be available for further investigation whenever required.
Notices are served to others film celebs such as Rakul Preet Singh, Charmee, Rana Daggubati, Ravi Teja, Navdeep, Srinivas, Mumaith Khan, Nandu, Taneesh and Tharun and all of them will be appearing before ED soon.
