Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi’s period Naxalite drama, Virata Parvam has wrapped up its entire shooting formalities and is ready for a release. Being directed by Venu Udugula, earlier reports came out that digital giant Netflix has acquired the streaming rights of the film but the OTT platform is yet to confirm the same.
Meanwhile, this morning, on the occasion of Rana Daggubati’s birthday, the makers have released a promotional video with the title ‘The Voice of Ravanna’. Set in forest backdrop, the one minute video showcases the core concept of the film with a voiceover presentation from Rana himself. The fight of Naxalites with the political system and police for their rights has been showcased in an authentic manner with a few quick shots. How a innocent girl (Sai Pallavi) by overcoming all hurdles will reach her love interest Ravanna is presented under currently in the promo. The voice over revolutionary dialogues by Rana add realistic texture to the entire setup. Towards the end, the makers have unveiled the the film’s trailer will be out during upcoming Sankranthi season.
Along with Rana and Sai Pallavi, Virata Parvam also stars Priyamani, Nivetha Pethuraj, Naveen Chandra, Zarina Wahab, Nandita Das, Eswari Rao, Sai Chand among others in key roles. Bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri in association with Suresh Productions, Virata Parvam is carrying good expectations among the moviegoers.
