Recently, there’s been a trend of Tollywood producers venturing into Kollywood, with companies like Mythri Movie Makers, Sithara Entertainments, and People Media Factory making their mark with medium to big budget films. Notably, Dil Raju produced ‘Varisu‘ with Vijay, and now Mythri Movie Makers is collaborating with Ajith.
Even big producer DVV Danayya was rumored to be joining the trend, with talks swirling around his potential collaboration with Vijay for a film before the latter’s political aspirations. However, recent rumours suggest Danayya might be backing out due to Vijay’s hefty demands regarding pay, director, and story preferences.
Vijay, reportedly keen on a film that could complement his political debut, has shown interest in H Vinoth‘s storyline. Currently busy with Venkat Prabhu‘s ‘Greatest Of All Time (GOAT)’, Vijay seems to be in no hurry to finalize his next project. While several directors have pitched their stories, none have materialized yet. As the speculation mounts, only time will tell whether Danayya’s departure from the project is factual or merely hearsay.
