The Andhra Pradesh government has issued a new G.O. allowing ticket price hikes for Prabhas Sankranthi release The Raja Saab.
Directed by Maruthi, the horror-fantasy film will have paid premiere shows, with ticket prices approved up to Rs. 1000 for these special screenings.
From January 9th, ticket rates for regular shows have also been increased. The hike is Rs. 150 in single screens and Rs. 200 in multiplexes.
With this, ticket prices will be Rs. 297 in single screens and Rs. 377 in multiplexes for the first ten days across Andhra Pradesh. The makers have also received permission to screen five shows per day.
With these higher ticket rates, the film is expected to open strongly at the box office. The film is produced by People Media Factory and stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar with music composed by Thaman.
