Dulquer Salmaan who is on a roll with back to back hits, is now coming up with a unique period drama titled Kaantha.
Directed by Selvamani Selvaraj, the film’s trailer has created huge excitement especially with Rana’s surprise role as a cop. The trailer hints at a powerful clash between a superstar and a legendary filmmaker.
The story is said to be inspired by real life events from the 1950s a time when the film industry had limited media and no social platforms leaving many stories untold.
Kaantha aims to reveal some of those forgotten yet sensational events from the Telugu and Tamil cinema world.
While the main characters are based on real personalities and the creative team has added fictional elements to make the script more interesting. Promotions are already in full swing.
