The Girlfriend, starring Rashmika Mandanna, Dheekshith Shetty, and Anu Emmanuel, is directed by Rahul Ravindran and produced by Geetha Arts. Released on November 7th, the film drew good attention from the start.

It opened with decent reviews and strong collections, performing well over the first weekend. However, the numbers dipped slightly on day four.
