The Family Man 2 team faces heat from the Tamilians; Deets inside

The promotional trailer of the second season of the much-awaited The Family Man series was unveiled by Amazon Prime Video a couple of days back. Since then Tamil audience and media circles are negatively trending on the web series with hashtag #TheFamilyMan2_against_Tamils on social media platforms.

Getting into the details, Samantha’s role in the show has been projected as LTTE women having terrorist connections with ISI which disappointed Tamilians big-time as these portions have showcased them in a bad light. Regarding the same, the creators of The Family Man series and Samantha have been facing serious heat from the Tamil media and public and demanding to stalled the release of the series. Will Amazon Prime Video management consider the sentiments of Tamilians and halt The Family Man 2’s streaming? Remains to be seen.

Also starring Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani among others in key roles, The Family Man 2 has been created by Raj&DK. The show is scheduled to stream from June 4th onwards.
