Thangalaan’s First-Day Collections

Vikram is popular in Telugu films too. Movies like “Siva Putrudu”, “Aparichitudu”, and “I”, where he played the main role, were successful in Telugu. Vikram always puts in his best effort, and he did the same for his new movie, “Thangalaan“, which was released on August 15th.

The teaser and trailer created a lot of excitement and the movie received positive reviews from the very first show. Because of this, it had a strong opening. Here are the collections of its first day:

The movie ‘Thangalaan” made Rs. 4 crores in the theatrical business. To cover its costs, it needs to earn Rs. 4.25 crores. On its first day, it made Rs. 1.3 crore. So, it still needs to make Rs. 2.95 crore to break even. Advance bookings for the second day are looking good, and if this trend continues, the movie might break even by the end of the weekend. We’ll have to wait and watch.
