Thaman Opens Up About Lenin’s Cancelled Dance Number

Thaman has shared an interesting detail about Lenin. He revealed that the team had originally planned a special dance number for the film but later decided to remove it because it did not suit the story.

The decision was made before the song was filmed. Thaman said the song had already reached several internal WhatsApp groups during the planning stage and he became upset when discussions and leaks started spreading.

He even left those groups. After several discussions the team felt the song would distract viewers from the film’s emotional story, so they dropped the idea completely.

Thaman also revealed that Pooja Hegde, Rashmika Devarakonda, Kayadu Lohar, and Preity Mukhundhan were considered but none were approached. The film’s success proved the decision was the right one.
