Telugu Distributors Bag Salaar’s Rights in Record Deal

Salaar is generating immense pre-release buzz and is poised to break box-office records due to its unprecedented hype. Anticipation is fueled by the film’s strong domestic and overseas demand, as evidenced by its remarkable pre-release business. The movie is projected to surpass RRR in various aspects, given the significant interest within trade circles.

Distributors have united to secure rights for the entire Telugu state at a price of 170Cr NRA, slightly below the makers’ initial asking price of Rs 200Cr. The most favorable offer received thus far is the 170Cr NRA bid, although the final figure remains to be seen.

Scheduled for a worldwide release on September 28th, Salaar has garnered immense attention as one of the year’s most anticipated films. The marketing campaign for Prashanth Neel’s creation is expected to launch in a couple of weeks. The movie features a cast including Shruti Haasan, Jagapathy Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Easwari Rao, in pivotal roles.
