The makers of the movie “Guntur Kaaram” are facing obstacles in organizing a pre release event at public grounds due to a lack of permission. Despite applying at various locations, including Yousufguda Police Grounds and Khaitlapur Grounds, they haven’t received a favorable response.
There are speculations in Film Nagar that the new Telangana Government is displeased with Tollywood, leading to the denial of permission. Interestingly, while senior stars promptly visited former CM KCR during his recovery at Yashoda Hospital, they haven’t shown similar urgency in meeting the current Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy.
Additionally, there haven’t been invitations extended to the Cinematography Minister for any special industry felicitation, causing discontent among the Congress rulers. These actions, coupled with the absence of prominent producers and stars meeting Revanth Reddy, have raised concerns and led to the lack of permissions.
Consequently, certain influential figures in the film industry are contemplating a unified approach to bridge the communication gap with the Telangana CM. The public’s perception highlights that while Tollywood maintained strong relations with the previous government, their interaction with the newly formed government has been notably different, causing apprehension among the industry leaders.
