Telangana Cinematography Minister Bans Premiere And Midnight Shows

The Telangana government has been supporting the Telugu film industry by allowing midnight and premiere shows and approving ticket price hikes for big films, including Allu Arjun’s “Pushpa 2“.

However, during a 9:30 PM premiere at Sandhya Theatre, RTC Crossroads, a stampede occurred, leading to chaos as Allu Arjun was present at the event.

Tragically, a woman lost her life in the incident. Following this, the Telangana government has decided to cancel all special premieres and benefit shows.

Cinematography Minister Komatreddy Venkat Reddy announced that there will be no permissions for midnight or premiere shows in the state for any Telugu films in the future.
