Targeted Negativity Surrounding Vijay Deverakonda’s “Kushi”?

Vijay Deverakonda’s latest film, “Kushi,” hit theaters on September 1st to a wave of positive reviews from critics. While the film is performing well at the box office in many regions, it faces challenges in mass territories due to its family romantic entertainer genre. Interestingly, there seems to be a deliberate and paid campaign aimed at tarnishing the film’s reputation.

One glaring example of this is the film’s shockingly low rating of just 7 on the ticket booking app, Book My Show (BMS). It appears that some individuals have intentionally given the movie 1-2 star ratings to drag down its BMS rating. This orchestrated negativity has raised suspicions within the industry, but the culprits remain unidentified.

The music for “Kushi” was composed by Malayalam music director Hesham Abdul Wahab, adding to the film’s appeal. The ensemble cast includes Murali Sharma, Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Saranya Pradeep, and Vennela Kishore in pivotal roles.

“Kushi” boasts a pan-India release, spanning Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages, showcasing its wide reach and appeal. Despite the challenges posed by targeted negativity, “Kushi” continues to shine in various regions, proving its worth as a captivating family entertainer.
