Talk: Sai Dharam Tej’s Republic to release in this month

Mega hero Sai Dharam Teja and acclaimed director Deva Katta’s intense social drama, Republic was supposed to hit the screens on June 4th but due to the Covid second wave, the release has been postponed indefinitely.

Meanwhile, the latest news is that the film’s first copy will be ready by the third week of August and the makers are planning for a theatrical release of the movie in September’s first week.

Said to be a hard-hitting political drama, the film’s first look teaser which was out a couple of months ago has created a solid impact and raises curiosity among the audience.

Alongside Sai Tej, Republic also stars character artistes Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishna in prominent roles. Aishwarya Rajesh is the female lead. While Mani Sharma is composing music, senior producers Bhagwan and Pullarao are bankrolling the movie.
