Suriya has once again shown his generous nature. Though he has been doing films regularly, he hasn’t had a major hit in recent times.
His latest release, Retro didn’t perform well in Telugu but became a success in Tamil, collecting great numbers.
The film was produced by his own banner, 2D Entertainment, and he played the lead role. Happy with the profits, Suriya has donated Rs. 10 crore to his Agaram Foundation. He handed over the cheque to the foundation’s team recently.
Suriya established the Agaram Foundation in 2006 with the goal of helping underprivileged children in Tamil Nadu get access to education.
The foundation has supported many students enabling them to complete their studies and build better lives. Suriya’s latest donation shows his continued commitment to giving back to society and supporting education for those in need.
