Sunil Yadav, one of the accused in the Viveka murder case, has sent legal notices to three people, claiming that the movie Hathya damaged his and his family’s reputation.
The notices were issued to the film’s director Basava Sri Vidya, producer Prashanth Reddy, and Pulivendula YSRCP social media activist Pawan Kumar.
Sunil demanded Rs. 5 crore in compensation from each within a week, warning of legal action if they failed to respond.
In his notice, Sunil alleged that the film was made as part of a plan to insult him and his family in public. He even hinted at Pulivendula MP YS Avinash Reddy’s possible involvement, suggesting that he might have funded the film.
Sunil was upset that while eight people were named in the CBI charge sheet and the movie showed only four, twisting the facts. He also accused Pawan Kumar of spreading clips online which caused serious mental distress to his family.
