In December, a tragic stampede took place during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre, where a youngster named Sritej was badly injured. The incident led to legal troubles for actor Allu Arjun.
In response, the entire Pushpa 2 team came forward to support Sritej’s family financially. Unfortunately, Sritej’s mother lost her life in the stampede.
Sritej was admitted to KIMS Hospital and spent over a month on ventilator support. After months of intensive treatment, he was finally discharged last night.
Though his condition is now stable he still requires more time to recover completely. For further treatment, he has been shifted to the Asian Transcare Neurorehabilitation Centre in Secunderabad.
Throughout this difficult time Allu Arjun’s family visited him frequently to check on his health and offer support. The road to full recovery is long but the efforts of the medical team and support from well-wishers have brought hope.
