Sooraj Pancholi, a Bollywood actor, recently made headlines as a potential Bigg Boss participant. Salman Khan, the reality show’s host, was in close contact to him, which fueled the rumour. After Pancholi was declared not guilty in Jiya Khan’s aiding suicide case, rumours of his potential involvement in the reality show started to circulate. Following his court-ordered acquittal, the actor issued a statement in which he acknowledged that the previous ten years had been “painful” for him and his family.
During a conversation Sooraj Pancholi revealed, “I will never do a reality show. I wasn’t approached by them either. It’s not something I would do even though I know it has a huge viewership.” He added that it’s just not his personality, but he also wants to focus on acting in films and even web shows. He said, “I lost out on acting opportunities in the past because of my travel restrictions and a sword that was dangling on my head.”
Sooraj Pancholi went on to say that he would be open to participating in a documentary where he could share his perspective on the situation. In a previous interview, he had said to the journal, “If that happens, I would love to be a part of it as I can say things that haven’t been said yet.”
