List of Small Screen Stars and Technicians who Shifted to Big Screen
SS Rajamouli
Rajamouli started his career as a teleserial director with Etv’s Santhi Nivasam. Later, he turned as the director with the 2001 film, Student No 1. Currently, Rajamouli is the most happening director in Indian cinema.
Vakkantham Vamsi
During his early days, noted writer and director Vakkantham Vamsi acted in a couple of teleserials and even hosted a few shows on Etv. Later, he shifted his base to films, turned as an actor and finally settled as a scriptwriter and director.
Anasuya
Initially, Anasuya was seen as a news presenter. Later, she turned as the host for Television shows and gained huge popularity as the host for Etv’s Jabardasth. Later, she debuted into the cinemas and successfully continuing the career by grabbed versatile roles.
Manchu Lakshmi
Being senior actor Mohan Babu’s daughter, Manchu Lakshmi initially proved her talent by hosting a few shows for various television channels. Later, she made an entry into the films.

Harsh Vardhan
Shot to fame with MAA TV’s serial Amrutham, Harsha Vardhan later turned into an actor and screenwriter. He has been working for movies as a scriptwriter and simultaneous continuing his acting career.
Sai Pallavi
Being Malayali, Sai Pallavi participated in a few Television shows during her childhood. She was even seen as one of the side dancers in Etv’s dance show, Dhee. Later, Sai Pallavi made her acting debut with the Malayalam version of Premam and even doing films in Telugu and Tamil.
Niharika Konidela
Hailing from the Mega family, Niharika made her small screen debut a few years back. After proving herself there, she made her silver screen debut as the heroine.
