SJ Suryah plays a politician named Mopidevi in Shankar‘s upcoming film Game Changer. This marks his second collaboration with Shankar and his first with Ram Charan.
As the film gears up for release on January 10th Suryah shared his excitement in a media interaction saying his performance will spark discussions after the release.
“The story is about a clash between a selfless collector who puts society first and a selfish politician. While the plot might sound familiar, the way the scenes are crafted is very unique,” Suryah explained.
He revealed that he has four different looks in the film. “Shankar sir worked meticulously on my character, mannerisms, and dialogues. Two of my looks are shown in the trailer, but the other two will be a surprise for audiences in theaters,” he added.
When asked if he signed the film for Shankar’s name or the story, Suryah clarified, “I usually don’t take up a role unless I’m impressed by my character. But with Shankar, I didn’t need to think twice”.
“He’s one of the few directors who’ve taken Indian cinema to new heights. Working with him is a dream for any actor”.
