Simbu And Mani Ratnam Reunite For A Soulful Romantic Drama

Silambarasan is set to play the lead in director Mani Ratnam’s next film which is said to be a soulful romantic drama.

After the action-packed Thug Life, Mani Ratnam is shifting gears to tell a love story and this time Simbu will be seen in a full-fledged romantic role.

While there were earlier rumors about newcomers being cast the director clarified that Simbu is indeed the lead.

Actress Rukmini Vasanth is likely to play the female lead making this a fresh on-screen pairing that has already sparked curiosity.

This marks Simbu’s first solo lead role in a Mani Ratnam film following their previous collaboration in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam.

The film’s pre-production is in progress with shooting expected to begin soon. With Ratnam’s signature storytelling and Simbu’s evolving acting journey, this film could become a standout romance in Tamil cinema.
