Simbu has become an address for all the controversies and the actor has been trying to figure out a way to come out of them. He did a movie called AAA last year and the movie failed. The movie director and producer came out saying that the actor did not support them in making the film. They said that he should bear the losses and also should do another movie and this time, like a professional.
Simbu first hit back in his own way but then said he will work on his body and change his behavior when he got an opportunity to work with Mani Ratnam. He even completed the movie, Chekka Chevantha Vanam in the time, Mani wanted. Now, the actor is facing is a legal problem about an advance he took to do a film from Passion Movie Makers, Arasan in 2013.
He took 50 Lakhs as advance and gave them dates. Producers after waiting for him for five years, moved to court and asked for the actor to pay total 85.50 Lakhs, including the interest for the five years. Court ordered the actor to pay the amount within four weeks. The actor decide to challenge it by filing an affidavit that the producers did not come forward to make the movie in the dates, he allotted.
