Shweta Basu is well known for many with the hit film Kotha Bangaru Lokam, which was also her debut. She later appeared in films like Ride, Kasko, and Kalavar King.
Recently she opened up that she was bullied on the set of a Telugu film because of her height.
She shared that she is 5.2 while her male lead was around 5.11 or 6 feet tall. People on set constantly teased her about it.
She also pointed out that her co-star struggled with speaking Telugu properly but no one criticized him for it, while she was bullied for something beyond her control. “It was the only set where I was bullied badly,” she said.
Shweta is now gearing up for the release of her new series Oops Ab Kya, which premieres on Jio Hotstar on February 20th.
