Shruti-PK film is remake of Veeram?

Well, that’s what the buzz suggests! The newly announced project which will be directed by SJ Suryah was said to be a love story set on the backdrop of faction. Well, ever since, the buzz suggests that Pawan Kalyan’s next co-starring Shruti Haasan as the female lead is a remake of Veeram.

Veeram, the blockbuster Tamil film which starred Ajith and Tamannaah in the lead was appreciated for its commercial values and set the ball rolling for a blockbuster Vedalam. The story would match the image Pawan Kalyan is slowly seeming to develop, probably to help his political career. To be produced by Sharrath Marar under NorthStar Entertainments, the film will go on floors in June.
