Leading actress Shruthi Hassan took a break from films post Katamarayudu. She signed a big film, Sanghamitra and then opted out of it sighting script related issues. She decided to stay in London with her friends and concentrated on her music career.
She came back to India recently and started acting in films again. Her films Krack and Vakeel Saab announced her comeback at Telugu box office in a successful manner and she has more offers to ponder on. Soon, she will continue to work for Prabhas – Prashanth Neel film, Salaar and there are chances of her acting with Pawan Kalyan again.
The actress welcomed travel ban as the second wave of Corona pandemic has proven to be deadlier than ever. With cases rising everyday, the actress said that it is better stay inside our homes for time being to let the front line workers bring the situation under control rather than traveling around and increasing the risks.
She expressed her disappointment with many celebrities posting pictures from Maldives and their vacation trips around the world. She said that she is not against people traveling but has a problem posting updates on multiple online platforms when they have to educate people about safety measures.
She said that she hopes at least now celebrities will start to promote safety measures to fight Covid rather than post pictures from some exotic locations. Recently, Maldives government has announced travel ban on people from other countries, mainly India.
Indian government has also imposed strict restrictions on people traveling outside India and speculations are ripe about a complete ban for few weeks or a month. Do you agree with Shruthi Hassan?
