Manchu Vishnu’s dream project Kannappa is in the final stages of post-production and the makers recently announced that the film will be released on June 27th.
However, the team faced a major shock when some of the film’s content was stolen. A hard drive containing important visuals was reportedly taken by two individuals, Raghu and Charitha.
The hard drive was sent by the Mumbai-based VFX team via courier and received in Hyderabad by Raghu. But instead of handing it over to the film team, it went missing.
As a result, the movie’s Executive Producer, Vijay Kumar, filed a complaint at the Film Nagar Police Station, and an investigation is now underway to catch those responsible.
Kannappa is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu. The film stars Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Preity Mukhundhan, and Madhoo.
